Lezlie DeGan
In 2007, I earned my certification as a dog trainer, eager to start my new journey. But I quickly realized I needed a way to connect with the community. That’s when a memory from years earlier came to mind—back when we lived in California, we needed a pet sitter for our two cats. We barely knew anyone in town, but we found a professional pet sitter who was a lifesaver. I remember thinking, What an amazing job!
Fast forward to 2007, and I had a lightbulb moment—pet sitting could help me meet people and launch my training business. But what I didn’t expect was how much I’d fall in love with it. Just a year later, I decided to put dog training on hold, and Lezlie’s Pet Sitting was born.
This journey has been incredible. I’ve met amazing people and their wonderful pets, built a team of dedicated pet sitters, and had the privilege of providing top-quality care to so many furry family members. I’m so proud of what we’ve built, and I can’t wait to continue serving our community with the love and care every pet deserves.

Thank you for reaching out to us! I have been a pet care profession and co-owner of Lezlie’s Pet Sitting for 5 years now. Lezlie is my mom and this has been a fun and exciting time for us.
After graduating from Life University, I went into the IT recruiting world for a number of years. It was a great experience because it helped me figure out what I did and did not want to do. It also gave me the tools and knowledge to help grow the team here at Lezlie’s Pet Sitting! I am extremely proud of the team that we currently have and I know you will be happy with the care that you receive from each one of them. I have two dogs of my own, a Great Dane named Benny and a Russell Terrier named Lewis. They are a wild duo but they have me wrapped around their paws! I look forward to taking care of your fur family just as I would my own.

The more the merrier! That is my attitude about pets. I have been a dog lover since childhood and have always had at least one canine friend in my home to care for ever since I was a kid. I currently have two kids of my own and two rescued fur babies (Loki and Venus) to love on. We enjoy getting outdoors and going hiking and to the dog park to meet up with friends. I can’t wait to meet your pet(s) and be one of the many highlights of their day!

I’m Amber, dog and cat lover extraordinaire! I brought my first stray dog home at 4 yrs old. I found him in my wooded backyard. My next stray came 2 weeks later when I found a kitten at a shopping mall with Mom. I hid her in my coat on the bus ride home. All pets deserve a loving home and the appreciation we can show them for being such great comforts to us. They are special and I like to give them the love and comfort they deserve.

Hello! My name is Stephanie and I love animals! When I am not walking or caring for your pet, I’m either out training for an Ironman or working my main job at the Georgia Aquarium as a dolphin trainer! I’m also a mom to a newly adopted pup from the shelter. I look forward to caring for your pets!

Hi, I’m Nikki — and I’m so excited to care for your furry family members! I have two amazing teenagers, a sweet pup named Finn, and a lovable cat named Nutmeg. We first met Nutmeg and her brother, Cy, while I was volunteering at a cat shelter. Both were born with an eye condition that left them each with one eye, and after Cy’s passing in 2024, Nutmeg has blossomed into a confident and affectionate kitty who’s even learning to love her canine brother.
Finn joined our family from the Cobb County Animal Shelter in late 2023. He’s a playful, loving Basset Hound mix who brings constant joy to our home. I can’t wait to meet your pets and discover what makes each of them so special!

Hi, I’m Maggie! Thank you for trusting me with your precious fur babies! I have such a deep love and respect for the life of an animal and have been caring for them as long as I can remember. I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, chickens, horses, goats, and everything in between! I am known as the girl who will take care of any feral cats I come across and yes, I do keep food in my car for the “just in case”! My goal in pet sitting is to make sure the pet parents know that their babies are very well taken care of and loved while they are away️.

Hi there- I’m Ashley, an Atlanta native! For the last 17 years, I’ve lived in East Cobb with my husband and two daughters. We have a Great Dane named Stella (who my family often jokes is my favorite daughter), a rescue Chocolate Lab mix named Paxton, and two Australian White Tree Frogs! I graduated from KSU with a BBA in marketing and worked in the home-building industry before my daughters were born. I also hold a Georgia Real Estate License, but I hung all those hats up! Now, I enjoy spending my days with furry friends. You can be certain your pet(s) will be well taken care of in my hands. Hi there! I am the loving paw-rent of two precious rescue pups, a very goofy high-energy Boxer, and a very anxious but sweet-as-can-be Chihuahua/Terrier mix who is the definition of a velcro dog! For as long as I can remember, my life has revolved around animals. I have always had a passion for caring for them and helping them in any way I can. I volunteer with the Humane Society and PAWS Atlanta, I am also a volunteer transporter for injured wildlife and do volunteer work for a local wildlife rescue and rehabilitation center. I’m currently pursuing a BS in Animal Health and Behavior. My utmost priority will always be the health, happiness, and safety of your four-legged family members! You can rest assured knowing they will always be in great hands when they are in my care!

Ed was born on a 100 acre working plantation and has been around animals all my life. Ed has personally owned and cared for: dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, horses, snakes, fish, cattle and birds. As a retired university professor, he has plenty of time to devote to the care of your special pets.
Liz has always been an animal lover. She has had everything from dogs and cats to fish and birds. Animals bring such a joy to life. She also loves taking care of our outside wild life around our house.
We have suet holders, 4 bird feeders and a salt lick for the visiting deer. They always make sure that the geese and ducks have plenty of corn. We always carry a pet emergency first aid kit with us, and pray we never have to use it.

Hi! My name is Noah and I’ve been a huge pet lover for as long as I can remember. My family has always been in the habit of rescuing dogs so I’ve had the pleasure of meeting many different personalities among pets. I have 2 pets of my own, both a dog and a cat, and I can confidently say that my cat Jeremy is probably my best friend. Whenever I’m home he never leaves my side.

I have lived in East Cobb since 1999. I had 2 dogs (Malibu & Willow) and 1 cat (Penelope). I walk dogs and pet sit about 5 to 6 days a week. I miss having my own dogs to love, but I will happily walk your BFF or visit with your favorite indoor cat. I enjoy yoga, cooking, and watching College Football as well as The Braves!

I live in Roswell with my husband, three kids, 2 dogs, and 5 chickens. My children are 19, 16, and 15 years old which allows me the freedom to spend more time doing something I love, being with dogs. I started with Lezlie’s Pet Sitting in January and can’t believe how much I enjoy my days walking and taking care of fur babies. As a dog lover, it brings me much joy to give the same care to other pet parents’ animals as my own. I love all dogs and have rescued 4 different breeds from bulldogs to pit bulls. I am close to Woodstock, Crabapple, Alpharetta, East Marietta, and Roswell.

At home, I have my dog Max — a loyal, friendly mix of Australian Blue Heeler and Corgi adopted from the Circle of Friends Animal Shelter. He’s full of energy and keeps me on my toes! I’m excited to bring that same enthusiasm and care to every pet I meet.

I’ve been married to my husband, Milton, for 22 wonderful years, and we share our home with our two beloved cats, Bella and Fernando.
